About The Event

Jivika’s primary focus is on delivering high-quality medical care and immunisation services. We made sure that 2.5+ million people in over 40+ districts across 6 states received their vaccinations safely by following stringent standards and appropriate criteria. This includes upholding adequate sanitization, maintaining sufficient social distance, maintaining fully furnished AEFI kits, etc. In this event, a wide range of healthcare industry specialists, including those from the government and private sectors, non-governmental organizations, donor organizations, community-based organizations, and academics, were present. The main goal was to promote discussion, encourage the exchange of ideas, and address the essential components of primary healthcare programs. The workshop agenda was developed to include a variety of events, including panel discussions, insightful expert opinions, the launch of a new book, and a photo exhibition.

The first-panel discussion’s united visionary leaders and experts from various sectors to strategize and explore avenues for fostering collaborations, with the aim of achieving equitable, superior, and inclusive healthcare service delivery in India. Under the theme of “Efficient collaborations for a sustainable impact,” these panels brought together esteemed individuals including Dr. Mangala Gomare (BMC, Mumbai), M.K. Agrawal (CHAI), Dr. Raj Shankar Ghosh ( Jivika Healthcare), Dr. Mainak Chatterjee (UNICEF), Dr. Gunjan Taneja (BMGF), Mr. Jignesh Patel (Jivika Healthcare), Ms. Sangita More (Jivika Healthcare). Their collective expertise have illuminated new pathways to drive transformative change in the healthcare landscape.

The second panel discussion revolved around the topic of “Collaborations and Coalitions of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) for Sustainability and Impact”. The panel discussion explored the power of partnerships between NGOs and CBOs and how they can work together to achieve sustainability and the maximize impact of healthcare programs. The central talk was around the “Importance of partnerships and collaborations in controlling disease outbreaks, addressing social determinants of health, advocating for public health policies and strengthening the healthcare systems through collaborations”. The panel discussion was highlighted by Dr. Sachin Desai, Dr. Devendra Khandait, Ms. Arti Mishra, Dr. Anuradha Jain, Prof. Sanjay Dhir and Dr. Nirmalya Mukherjee.
