Rekha during her awareness visits door to door in PCMC, Pune met multiple families and shared her experience “I’ve seen so many vulnerable people,” says Rekha. “I enjoy going to people’s homes and raising awareness about vaccination. I love helping them.” 

Sushma, who is 36, was one of the people Rekha helped to enrol on the AdoptAZindagi campaign to get her child vaccinated against 6 vaccine-preventable diseases which are not covered under the government universal immunisation schedule. For Sushma, it came as a massive relief when she does not have to travel far to get her child timely vaccinated.

I am not aware that my child is still at risk for many diseases. I didn’t know how and where to register, Jivika Tai has helped with my concerns and ensured registration and timely vaccination of my child. Now, my child’s future is healthy and safe.
