Jivika Healthcare (CSR Implementing Partner for Corporates) and CreditAccess India Foundation, the CSR wing of CreditAccess Grameen Limited (CA Grameen) have partnered to provide comprehensive healthcare services through the Healthcare On Wheels (Swasthya Sawari) in the Gola block of Ramgarh district in Jharkhand.
Shri Robin Toppo, Deputy District Commissioner, Ramgarh expressed “CreditAccess has stepped forward to fulfill their social responsibility by supporting this valuable service. Jivika Healthcare will conduct village-level camps and deliver essential healthcare services.” He emphasized the need for collective efforts to improve the well-being of society.
Jivika Healthcare’s Swasthya Sawari aims to provide quality healthcare services for 20+ disease conditions (including communicable & non-communicable diseases) across 70 villages, reaching out to 8,000 beneficiaries in a span of 6 months.
Nagananda Kumar, Head – Centralized Operations, CreditAccess Grameen, expressed delight at the launch and expressed his desire to expand similar initiatives in the future. He said, “We are thrilled to introduce this service and aspire to scale up such endeavours going forward.”
By connecting beneficiaries with the nearest healthcare facility, they would be supported through counselling, prevention, and further treatment through referrals.
With the vision of ‘Serving the Underserved’, Swasthya Sawari is ensuring equity and accessibility of quality healthcare services in hard-to-reach areas.
