Also known as “Swasthya Sawari,” this specialized mobile van-based model, which was designed in coordination with the government, the U.S.
Partnership with Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), for Measles & Routine Immunization
Measles is a leading cause of childhood mortality among the vaccine preventable diseases in India. With the current outset of the measles outbreak in Maharashtra, India, we witnessed many active cases & few fatalities. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the limitations of resources at the immunization drive, thereby putting a higher emphasis on the need for the same to reach closer to the doorstep of the underserved.

Jivika Healthcare (CSR Implementing Partner for Corporates) and CreditAccess India Foundation, the CSR wing of CreditAccess Grameen Limited (CA Grameen) have partnered to provide comprehensive healthcare services through the Healthcare On Wheels (Swasthya Sawari) in the Gola block of Ramgarh district in Jharkhand. Shri Robin Toppo, Deputy District Commissioner, Ramgarh expressed “CreditAccess has stepped forward to fulfill their social responsibility by supporting this valuable service. Jivika Healthcare will conduct village-level camps and deliver essential healthcare services.”
