A Mission to Protect Every Girl from Preventable Cancer
Cervical Cancer Mukt Maharashtra is a public health mission driving HPV vaccination and awareness for school-aged girls. The mission is entrusted and supported by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Jivika Foundation leads implementation in 10 priority districts including Aurangabad, Gadchiroli, Satara, Kolhapur Jalgaon, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Thane, and Raigad.

HPV vaccination can prevent most cervical cancer cases when given between 9–14 years
HPV-related cancers are the 2nd- most common cancer in women in India
WHO’s Global Initiative of Eliminating Cervical Cancer
90% of girls fully vaccinated with HPV vaccine by age 15.
70% of women screened with high-performance tests at 35 and 45.
90% of women with pre-cancer treated, and 90%of invasive cases managed.
