Access to healthcare services is a fundamental right that ensures the well-being and quality of life for individuals and communities. However, accessing healthcare in rural areas presents unique challenges due to various factors, including geographic remoteness, limited healthcare infrastructure, and socioeconomic disparities. To address this challenge of accessibility of quality healthcare in rural areas, Jivika operates Swasthya Sawari (Mobile Health Clinics) in Boko and Nagarbera blocks of Kamrup Rural district in Assam. Swasthya Sawari is catering to the healthcare needs of the remotely residing hard-to-reach communities.

She was given initial treatment by the Medical Officer till she stabilized and then she was referred to Boko PHC for further evaluation and treatment.
On time availability of medical facility saved Mrs. Ambabati’s life. Her relatives thanked the team for providing healthcare facility in their home.
There are many such people residing in hard-to-reach location who do not have accessibility to quality healthcare services in their vicinity. They have to travel long distances to get the facility and it often turns out to be life-threatening for the critical patients. Jivika in partnership with Government of Assam and Siemens Healthineers is providing easy access to healthcare to such vulnerable and underprivileged communities.
